Domesticated thousands of years ago by the predecessors of the Incas, the alpaca’s wool is forged by the extraordinarily tough climate at high altitude in the Andes mountains. There, the daily temperatures fluctuate from -20C to + 20C.
This unique environment produces wool that has an extremely high warmth performance combined with dirt, water, and wind resistance.
